About Marianna

I grew up in Greece with an English/Greek background. I then studied film at the London Film School. After ten years in London and New York, I decided the film business was too noisy for me and started painting ceramics.

I studied next to my godmother, Sophia Argyropoulou, a greek ceramics painter. What attracted me to her was that she always seemed to be happy when she was working. At 92 she still works every day. What an inspiration!

Since 1998 I have been painting one of a kind pieces that are inspired by nature; trees, mountains, skies and animals. The best thing about them is that they are wonderful to use, and you can create services and sets that are all slightly different so that everyone can choose their favourite piece.

I love living n Athens with my husband and son and do my best to be in beautiful greek nature as often as possible.
